Missions Update March 2025: Big Transitions, Same Mission

Big Transitions, Same Mission.

Leaving YWAM: A New Chapter Begins

In August 2024, after 13 years with YWAM and much prayer and guidance, I felt it was time to step back—because God had made it clear in various ways that He had something new for me

It was a big transition, but I knew I wasn’t leaving missions;

I was simply stepping into a new season of faith and obedience..

Exploring Switzerland: A Step of Faith

In February, I traveled to Switzerland on an exploration trip—something that had been on my heart for a couple of years. I felt it was the perfect time to seek direction from God. What I found was more than just clarity—I fell even more in love with the culture and with what God is doing there.

During my time in Switzerland, I had the opportunity to help with worship, preach, and assist a Latino gathering. This experience only deepened my desire to continue praying for that nation and seeking the Lord’s next step—especially regarding how to obtain a visa to return.

The Lord provided in the most unexplainable ways on this trip—there was NO way I could have done this in my own capacity. In fact, let me confess something: I was able to bring just $500, and we both know that in Switzerland, that barely covers trains and food for a week… yet I was there for five weeks! See more of God's faithfulness in these next highlights from each Canton.

What's Next? A Season of Focus in Mexico

For now, I feel God calling me to stay present and focused in Mexico, being faithful with what He has placed before me. My life motto is the same as my blog’s headline: “Lead me, and I’ll go.”

Since leaving YWAM, I have been developing local evangelism projects, using my passion for piano tutoring as a way to connect with people, be a light, and serve as a tool for God. Alongside a group of friends, I also engage in street evangelism, reaching out to the homeless and those in the red-light district. We share the gospel, distribute Bibles and essential supplies, and connect individuals with churches and rehabilitation centres for long-term support.

Ministry Goals for: the Next 6-12 Months

Over the next year, my focus remains on worship, discipleship, Bible teaching, and evangelism. My goals include:

✅ Training at least one or two new worship leaders or musicians
✅ Expanding outreach efforts to the homeless and red-light districts
✅ Distributing 100 Bibles in the next six months
✅ Strengthening partnerships with rehab centres and churches
✅ Continuing monthly mentorship and personal spiritual growth

Accountability and Spiritual Covering

I’m not walking this journey alone. I have a strong support system that provides spiritual covering and accountability.
Pedro (former YWAM co-leader, now an elder) – I meet with him and his wife monthly for debriefing and guidance.
Pastor Iván – I recently started receiving more formal mentorship from him, also on a monthly basis. These relationships keep me grounded, encouraged, and accountable as I continue serving.

✧Your Investment Matters✧

To those who have supported me—thank you. Your investment in my time in Switzerland was not in vain. It was part of God’s unfolding plan. As I continue in missions, both in Mexico and wherever He leads next, your prayers and support remain invaluable.
