Who Am I. What Am I up to. Short-term Plans (March 2021)

Hi readers! This is a small Bio I made for you to get to know more about me🤗

My background:

I was born in Venezuela, but the truth is that today I am a mixture of nations haha. As soon as I finished highschool at age 17, I went to Youth With A Mission in Argentina to do my DTS. I stayed there in Buenos Aires for 3 years studying my Bachelor of Music, then I came to Mexico at age 20, to volunteer with Youth With A Mission Mexico until now.


Missionary life in Mexico:

It's been 9 years since I decided to become a full-time Missionary in Mexico with YWAM to serve God through whatever area, from just gardening work (which I love!), to making beds in anticipation of receiving dozens of teams. It can look like cooking, washing dishes, building houses, leading worship, cleaning toilets, organizing children's choirs, evangelizing, leading outreaches, preparing spaces for church conferences, translating, organizing campaigns, studying books together with youth… literally all kinds of service in any area they ask.


Callings and passions:

As time has passed while serving, I have refined my field of focus: Worship, Youth Discipleship, Biblical Teaching, Music Training and Production, and lastly, as weird as it may sound, I love providing solutions in all things related to systems or structural problems. My heart is to be better stewards of what God has given us.


What is my vision and mission?

To Multiply Worship Leaders, musicians and effective artists in the mission field, who are light and hope in a broken world.

My Current Responsibilities at the YWAM Ensenada base:

My main responsibilities are directing the School of Worship, Administering the Music Ministry department and team, and being part of the Elders team in our Campus. All of these responsibilities are big on my heart and it's a joy for me to be able to serve through each one of them! Also a very challenging and humbling experience. I just never stop growing more in my character, and in the knowledge of God's love and wisdom.

Other things I'm up to:

Last Year I started an online degree of Music Production, that takes 4 years to complete. I'm currently in my 2nd semester. And I love it so much! But to be honest this last semester has been hard to keep up with my homework since I'm only able to do it in my free times, and lately I just want to take those times to rest haha. Last semester I did great! I scored 100 in all of my signatures, so my plan is to keep that up. Please pray for tons of strength and discipline for me 💪

Plans for 2021:

  • I will be leading the School of Worship in our campus this April: And I’m SO excited about this!. The School of Worship (SOW) is a five-month course that includes a three-month lecture phase and a two-month outreach (optional). SOW takes students deeper into a life of integrity, passion, and Bible study through worship. We strive to open the eyes of our students to the opportunity we have as believers to worship our Savior "in spirit and in truth." We wish to develop our students in “heart, mind and hands” by giving them the tools necessary to develop the physical and spiritual aspects of worship. The SOW trains, equips, and develops those involved in the worship ministry to be effective in their area of influence. The school provides hands-on training for worship leaders, in which we develop the worship leader's understanding of how to lead a band through musical skill, lead the congregation toward worship, and lead by example in integrity and character.

  • As a school we’ll be sending an Outreach to Central Mexico: Our outreach will focus on serving the local church and equipping youth and worship ministry leaders. Declaring the light of the gospel in the streets and neighborhoods.

  • I will be teaching a week at the Worship School at YWAM Mazatlán, for the first time (and I am a little nervous, but VERY grateful that God has given me this opportunity for growth and service).

  • Continue STRONG and constant in my online degree🙏

Que significa "hogar" cuando estas lejos de tu familia :( ?

Naces, perteneces, creces, y llega el día... te despides. Transición a la puerta. El concepto de "hogar" pareciera ser alterado al tomar el paso de vivir lejos del hogar maternal, mas aun si estas lejos del país en donde creciste. Si eres misionero o estudiante lejos de familia (soltero) como yo, seguramente sufriste la idea de "...me siento solo!!", y descubriste cuanta de tu seguridad se baso solo en tu hogar y amistades, pero al ver que ya no están, se revela  cuanta falta de dependencia teníamos  en Dios. Desde mis 16 años he vivido fuera de mi país, cambiando de vivienda en diferentes lugares de Latino-américa a traves de los últimos 7 años, por razones de estudios musicales y trabajo en misiones (YWAM - JUCUM), y para ser honesta, ha sido doloroso vivir tantas transiciones, d onde las palabras " hola!.. te quiero!..adiós :("  se vuelven como dagas al corazón después de constru...

School of Worship (Apr - Jul 2022) 🔥

Hola Familia y Amigos!, Gracias por tomar tiempo de leer. Les compartiré un poco de cómo estoy y lo que estoy haciendo :). Este 2022 ha sido muy bueno, lleno de mucho descanso y sanidad , tanto que me ha abrumado la bondad de Dios en niveles que no había experimentado antes. Para darles un poco de contexto: En el 2021 justo después de una increible temporada dirigiendo la  Escuela de Adoración  de Abril, pasé por una temporada muy difícil e inesperada, con muchas pérdidas dolorosas y un necesario discipulado. En medio de todo, Dios tenia un plan. Ya yo tenia agendado estudiar en la  Escuela de Discipulado Bíblico  de ese Septiembre, con expectativas totalmente distintas a las que Dios termino usando esos meses, Él sabia lo que yo necesitaba aún antes de que lo necesitase. Las relaciones basadas en el amor de Dios traen transformacion

"Mientras mas conozco, mas amo". JUCUM Ensenada e Iglesias locales: Ha sido increíble cuanto he podido conectarme con tantas iglesias locales en el transcurso de este mes y conocer a tanta gente increíble!! mientras mas conozco a personas que tienen la misma disposición de servir a Dios en su comunidad voy construyendo la imagen mas grande que Dios tiene para Ensenada, y me bendice poder ser parte del cumplimiento de esa imagen que yace en el corazón de Dios. Nunca había visto un lugar con tantas iglesias como es Ensenada, pero no necesariamente existe unidad entre ellas y las misiones (JUCUM), pero el amor Dios ha traspasado barreras de diferencias en el transcurso de la historia de Ensenada, ha sido a traves de las relaciones basadas en el amor de Dios que han traido transformacion, como base JUCUMera hemos visto el inicio de cambios respecto a esta barrera. Podrá ser el Desierto lo mejor que nos podría pasar? (Nov 2022)

En este momento que estoy redactando, estoy apoyando la escuela bíblica  DBS en YWAM SADM , y acabamos de recorrer "el camino del desierto junto con los israelitas" tras leer el pentateuco hace unas semanas, y mi mente no podía dejar de pensar lo mucho que me identifico con esa etapa del pueblo de Israel y su líder Moises, porque el mismo Dios de su  desierto , es el mismo Dios de mis "Desiertos". Por lo que decidí escribir un Blog para compartir mi aprendizaje sobre el "Desierto" y las aplicaciones que sugiero   entre lineas . Iniciemos con esta premisa: "Los Israelitas se quejaron de la respuesta  a su  misma  oración " Identifiquemonos un poco con ellos, imagina ser Israelita , llevas 400 años de ser esclavo en Egipto, tu familia lleva generaciones que lo único que conoce es trabajar para un imperio insensible, que no valora tu vida.  No sabes qué es la libertad.   Tu archi-enemigo es Faraón. No tienes sentido de identidad "nacional"...
